    VISION STATEMENT
Staff members at Eureka High School must Educate, Empower and Excel in their profession. One way that these doctrines are implemented is through the understanding of special education and all it entails, including all aspects of the IEP. After the professional development given, all staff members will be able to implement all the outcomes listed therein.

    OUTCOMES
The outcomes for this year’s worth of professional development are that each staff member should:
    ...
know what Targeted Homework is and how to implement.
have specific knowledge about all students with IEPs with whom they interact.
    ...
    as negative.
ISTE (Formerly NETS) (Educational Techology Standards)

All of these outcomes align with the ISTE teacher standard #5, Engage in professional growth and leadership, using the wiki will correlate with teacher standard #4, promote and model digital citizenship and responsibility, because everything on the wiki will be cited properly. The ISTE Technology coaching standards that will be addressed are #1, Visionary leadership, #2, Teaching, learning and assessments, #3, Digital age learning environments, #4 Professional development and program evaluation, #5 Digital citizenship, and #6, Content knowledge adn professional growth.
    ATTENDEES
All staff members to include teachers, support staff who work directly with or supervise students and administrators will attend the applicable inservice opportunities.
    BUDGET
No additional budget is needed to be allotted for these opportunities. The special education staff will use currently accessible resources and will plan the sessions during their weekly meetings before school.

    PREREQUISITE SKILLS
The prerequisite skills needed to attend these meetings are to be an employee of District 140 or a guest thereof. Knowing basic word processing skills and concepts of Google Drive is helpful, but not necessary as there are many staff members who are adept and willing to coach new staff members through the process as we go on through the year. The final prerequisite skills needed are to have an open mind, not have preconceived notions, come to the inservices ready to learn and do something new, and be willing to actively participate and ask questions.
    ...
    HANDOUTS
Due to the confidentiality of our students, we can not post any handouts here because they would have PII, you will be given the handouts you need in a binder which you must keep locked away when not in use.
